Deleted scene from Perilous Duty (1988)

"Hey, get this pukin' rookie outta my crime scene!"
Detective Cadillac "Caddy" Tinkle was in a sour mood. He'd woken up from a whiskey coma just 20 minutes ago when the call came in: there was a body.
As a nameless police drone escorted his fellow vomiting officer away, Caddy dipped below the caution tape and got his first good look. She was a knockout. Legs for days and a body that wouldn't quit.
  Except that it had quit.
  Quit being alive.
"What coulda done this?" some random Irish policeman that was also there wondered aloud, his brogue spilling into the night like a banshee's cough.
Caddy spat his toothpick in the gutter and tipped up the brim of his hat.
"I dunno. Bears maybe? She looks like a sock that came outta the dryer inside out. I mean, what the frig is this?"
He poked at some random intestine-like organ with his pen.
The Irish policeman shook his head as if to say, "I am shaking my head as if to say I don't know."
  "And here, look at this."
Caddy thrust his pen into some guts that looked like kidneys.
"These look like kidneys," he said.
They both stood and stared at the body for a few hours, perplexed. Eventually the Irishman broke the silence.
  "I think those are kidneys."
"Yeah," Caddy agreed, "I think you're right. Anyway, it's up to the boys in forensics now. We'll have to wait for their report."
Caddy wandered off into the night, not knowing if he'd meet a stranger, and if he did, whether or not the stranger would have a name, and if so, what the stranger's name was.
But he was pretty sure he'd find out.
